Description
Digital geometric models find nowadays numerous applications ranging from industrial CAD and terrain or scientific visualization to games and movie productions. This lecture covers all aspects of DGM from their aquisiton and representation to editing and processing. In detail it discusses the following topics: This lecture discusses advanced rendering techniques that aim at highly realistic images. Particular emphasis lies on high quality depictions of materials.
