Description
The lecture computer animation gives attention to the representation and visualisation of moving three dimensional objects. After introducing some fundamentals the lecture focus on representations of virtual characters ("avatars", "animated agents"). Topics are: Fundamentals of computer animation; kinematics; representations of motions; motion capturing; motion retrieval; motion editing; motion texturing; motion styles; morphing techniques; facial animations; cognitive modelling hierarchy
