Description

Virtual Reality (VR) is an area of Computer-Graphics, wich deals with novel input devices, intuitive and direct interaktion, immersion, real-time-rendering and real-time-simulation. VR is established in different application areas, e.g. in automotive- and plane industry. Furthermore, several problem solutions can be applied to computer games as well.

In this lecture, first basic methods and algorithms will be presented. In the following, revelant topics for complex VR systems (e.g. object-behaviour, collision detection, acustic rendering, etc.) will be discussed.
