Supplementary data base for the paper:
„Novel Methods for sEMG Analysis and Exploration Based on Multi-Modal GMMs“

We provide sEMG and Kinematic data of 14 horses (Haflinger mares) without lameness that were recorded walking and trotting on a treadmill.
The set of sEMG data consists of measurements by a set of 8 trunk-mounted sEMG sensors of a Delsys Trigno Wireless System (Boston, MA, USA).
Actication of two muscles has been captured: m. longissimus dorsi (trunk muscle) and the m. gluteus medius (leg muscle). Muscle activation was recorded by sEMG at one location on the m longissimus dorsi (abbreviated LD) and at three different locations of the m. gluteus medius (abbreviated GM1-GM3). The frame rate of sEMG recordings is 4000 Hz.
The set of 3D kinematic data consists of optical motion capture recordings (10 high speed cameras; Eagle Digital Real Time System, Motion Analysis Corp., Santa Rosa, CA, USA) at 7 different positions, one on the forehead, one on the highest point of the withers, on the sacrum and on the lateral side of each hoof. All kinematic data are synchronized to sEMG recordings automatically (by combined setup). The framerate of kinematic data is 120 Hz.
